Washington -- $1.7 million in projects for the National Peanut Lab in Dawson are included in the House version of the 2008 agricultural appropriations bill.
Rep. Sanford Bishop said the four projects involve peanut production and water use.
The Southeast Watershed Research Lab in Tifton had two projects funded for a total of 926,000 dollars.
The Peanut Institute in Albany is allocated almost a half million dollars, and Georgia Environmental Training and Education Authority in Albany gets almost $350,000.
The House bill must be reconciled with the Senate version later this year.
