Valdosta - Two South Georgia culinary stars are helping raise money for the Second Harvest Food Bank in Valdosta.

Jamie and Bobby Deen, host of the Food Network's "Road Tasted" and sons of superstar chef Paula Deen, will headline the Empty Bowl Fundraiser Friday night.

When they're not on the road, they live and work in Savannah.

The fundraiser will feature a silent auction, entertainment and a recipe contest.

The winner gets to cook with the brothers.

All proceeds will go to the Kids cafe Program that feeds area youth.  "So if they don't participate in the program, they may go hungry. So we feed them at participating sites, they get a hot meal, a serving of milk and they also get homework assistance and enrichment activities," says Shannon Zapf from the food bank.

They hope to raise 25-thousand dollars.

The event begins Friday at 5:30 PM at the James H Rainwater Conference Center.
