    APD reports that officers got a tip that a wanted person was “hiding out” at 708 North Jackson Street. Offices went to that location and confirmed the suspect was there. They said they found Wanda Harris hiding under a bed and arrested her, then notified DCP.More >>

Lee County-  A Lee County man stealing checks and ATM Cards from vehicles across Lee County and then cashing them before victims could act is in jail thanks to the community's help.  

Monday night WALB broadcast surveillance pictures of Larry Wayne Bodily. He also goes by Larry Griffin. Tuesday night he was arrested before 6:00 and placed in the Lee County Jail.

Investigators say tips from the community lead to Bodily's arrest.  Late at night or early in the morning, Bodily was smashing windows and breaking into cars and taking checks or ATM cards. At least seven people had fallen victim.  Bodily faces charges of financial transaction card fraud.
