Thomasvile class wins trip of a lifetime

July 31, 2007

Thomasville--  The trip is thanks to 4th grader Parker Owens who registered for the "Nickelodeon takes over you class trip" contest in May and won the grand prize!

"My mom said, my son registered on the computer for a contest and it says that he's the potential grand prize winner, and she goes, 'oh my gosh, are you Parker's mom?' and so my mom was so excited," said Owens.

Parker's whole family gets to go on the trip along with each of his classmates and a guardian. Each child also gets a $500 check to spend on the trip.
