Thomasville--  Dr. Laine Reichert has taught at the school since 2002, and earlier in her career from 1984 to 1997.

She previously served as the chair of the science department, but says she's looking forward to moving into administration.   "The position really spoke to me, and it was like an a-ha moment. Now is my time to really step out and really challenge myself and like I said to have a greater impact on students and other teachers," says Reichert.

She will be working in the 9th grade focus academy building. She'll observe in the classroom and assist in curriculum and instruction.

Reichert replaces Steve Dupree who left the high school to take a position as principal at West Bainbridge Middle School.
