Albany -- It's almost time for students to head back to school. You can make sure they have the supplies they need.

The Albany Mall,  Clear Channel and WALB are sponsoring the "Instruments of Learning" school supplies drive.

Donations will help students in Dougherty, Lee, Terrell and Worth counties.

You can donate any supplies, uniforms or even musical instruments by dropping them into this bus at the Albany mall.

"There is a huge need. There are 17,000 students within the student population of those four counties classified by the state as disadvantaged," Albany Mall Marketing Director, Debra Rowe. "They could really use the instruments and tools that they need to be successful."

Anyone who makes a donation Saturday, August fourth will also get a free gift. The drive will continue through August fifth.
