Albany -- One of the 300 agencies served by the Food Bank of Southwest Georgia is the Lord's Pantry in Albany
While the 7.5 ounce size cans of Castleberry's beef stew at the Lord's Pantry aren't on the recall list, they're not taking any chances. They're no longer distributing any Castleberry products.
C.B. Fincher, volunteer with the Lord's Pantry said, "Since there has been some confusion on whether or not we can use this, it will be pulled off of the shelves because of the recall. We're going to clear out the items from our bags and from the boxes."
Lord's Pantry had dozens of boxes of Castleberry's canned products in stock. The location serves 16,000 bags of groceries to families each year.
