Albany -- Two children are charged with setting fires in East Albany.

A 12-year old girl and a 10-year old boy are charged with setting a grass fire and then torching a dumpster.

Around 3 O-clock Monday afternoon firefighters were called to a grass fire at Kalmon Avenue. While there firefighters were alerted to another fire in this dumpster behind the old K-Mart building. There was little damage.

Witnesses pointed out the two children who set the fires with a lighter. They were charged with third degree arson and released to their parents.
