Albany - Dougherty County is pumping money into Albany Tomorrow, Incorporated. ATI will get $25,000 from the county. The money will be used for downtown development.

Interim CEO Greg McCormack said, "Certainly we were happy about that. We're glad the county is going to be a participant in downtown development. I think it's important. I'm a little disappointed we weren't fully funded with our request, but you can't look a gift horse in the mouth."

The city already approved granting ATI's request of 150,000 for two years.
