Thomasville -- Thomasville senior Brandon Thompson is a very popular man.
The Bulldog defensive lineman has received scholarship offers from most of the top teams in the nation, and an invitation to play in one of the top high school all-star games in the nation next January.
Thompson has a lot of weight on the bar, as he and his teammates are working out, and getting ready for the season.
The senior also has a lot on his mind, as Thompson tries to make a decision on where to play college football.
Thompson says, "I think my top four probably are Clemson, Florida State, Miami, and Georgia Tech. Right now they're all kind of even."
The 6'2" 291-pound defensive tackle says it won't be an easy decision to make.
"It's going to be a tough decision, but I know it's going to be the right one."
A month before the season, Thompson is already picking up accolades, as the Bulldog senior has been selected to play in the ESPNU All-American game January 5th in Orlando.
Thompson says it's an honor to play in the game, but it also paints an even bigger target on his back for opponents.
"It'll motivate them a tremendous bit as well," says Thompson, "just to know that they can get recognition just for coming out and playing well against me."
Thomasville opens the season at Thomas County Central August 31st.
Fifty-nine high-school players from around the country will play in the ESPNU All-American game January 5th in Orlando, Florida.
