Albany - The South Georgia Wildcats have been winning games despite the fact that two of their top linemen have been out for the past three games.
The Wildcats making a move to add some beef to their front wall with the AF2 playoffs just two weeks away.
The Wildcats Thursday signed lineman Joe Clark.
Clark played for Westover High coach Jeff Caldwell when Caldwell was the head coach at Stockbridge.
After finishing up his college career at West Georgia , Clark was on the practice squad this season for the Georgia Force and became available when the Force were beaten in the AFL playoffs last week.
Clark may have just arrived but chances are he will likely see a lot of playing time and he says the team has been great in helping him get ready for Saturday's game with Alabama.
Joe Clark said "For the most part it is football. It comes natural. It is a game. They are doing a good job of helping me out and trying to get me into the system slowly but getting me in there enough where I will be ready Saturday if it comes down to that."
The South Georgia Wildcats have a pre-game fan appreciation party at the Veteran's Amphitheater before Saturday's game with the Alabama Steeldogs.
And a post-game concert featuring the Bo Henry Band behind Harvest Moon Restaurant after the game.
