Savannah - The 3rd Infantry Division and Fort Stewart-Hunter Army Airfield near Savannah will honor 10 fallen heroes in a ceremony Thursday.

They'll plant 10 eastern red bud trees on their warriors walk, an area they've set up as a living monument to the men and women who sacrifice their lives for our freedom.

Among those honored will be 38-year-old Staff Sgt. Darren Hubbell of Tifton, who died in Baghdad June 20th when an improvised explosive device detonated near his vehicle.

The Soldiers' trees will bring the total number of trees on Warriors Walk up to 348.
