Albany -- A $500 dollar reward is offered in an armed robbery that happened here at the WALB-TV studios.

Today in Georgia meteorologist Chris Zelman was robbed at gunpoint in our parking lot early Friday, July 6th.

Seconds after arriving at work at 3:45 a.m., Zelman was accosted in the front parking lot by a man with a gun.

His wallet was stolen, and credit card records show the robber used his VISA card just ten minutes later at Woodall's on North Slappey. Thankfully, Chris wasn't hurt.

If you have any information about this robbery, please contact the Dougherty County Sheriff's Office.

If your information leads to an arrest and conviction, you will get a $500 reward.
