Dooly County -- A man is killed after wrecking a stolen deputy car in Dooly County. A Crisp County deputy responded to a disturbance call on Truman street at 1:30 Saturday morning.

While the deputy met with the family of the home, 19-year-old Spencer Gamble ran out the back door and into the deputy's car and drove off.

Authorities were able to track the car five minutes later.

A Dooly County deputy attempted to pull the car over northbound on Highway 41 when Gamble lost control of the car.Gamble was pronounced dead on the scene.

His family says he had a history of mental illness.
