Albany - Bragging rights are on the line this weekend in the ninth annual Albany Challenge Cup matches.
The tournament will pit the five city golf clubs against each other to find out which has the top players.
The five clubs each have 12 players of various handicap ratings.
The five teamswill meet at Flint River Golf Course this weekend for the two-day tournament.
The format is different for this year's tournament.
The clubs will play a best ball format on Saturday and a scramble in Sunday's final round.
River Pointe Golf Pro Gary Clark says the new format should add some spice to what is already a very competitive and enjoyable tournament.
Gary Clark said"The format will really be beneficial to the players. It will keep them more involved than when we were playing the alternate shot. It was a lot harder because you only got to hit every other shot. This way they are involved on every shot."
Stonebridge Country Club has won six of the first eight Challenge Cup matches with River Pointe and Grand Island also registering one win.
