Albany --  A driver of an eighteen wheeler loses control of his semi, causing it to flip over this morning in Eastern Dougherty County.

The accident happened around 7:45 AM on the Clark Avenue extension headed toward Sylvester, and Doughery County Police officers directed west-bound traffic away from the scene.

Thirty-three-year-old Larry Deloach of Glennville reached down to pick up his cell phone, when he then veered off the road and flipped his semi over.

The accident did not cause any traffic backups and Deloach escaped without any injuries.

Deloach was on his way to Blakely to deliver cashews to the Georgia Cold Storage Warehouse when the accident occurred.
