Final touches made to WALB's new tower

July 10, 2007

Doerun --  The tower, which began transmitting our signal last week, is now receiving a High-Definition transmitter.

Crews were unloading the transmitter today which they say should be installed and completed in about two weeks.

The HD transmitter will provide high-definition programming where available, and we're all the certainly looking forward to that.

The HD signal should go out just as far as the analog signal.
