FSU's Posey is an all-star in the classroom

Tallahassee, Fl. - Florida State catcher Buster Posey is an All-American on the diamond and in the classroom

The former Lee County High standout is of seven FSU baseball players named to the Atlantic Coast Conference's All-Academic team.

It is the second year in a row Posey has made the ACC All-Academic team.

On the field, Buster Posey caught every Florida State game in 2007 and was one of three finalists for the Johnny Bench award.
