Macon -- The start of the season is just around the corner for the Albany State football team.
The Rams have had plenty of success the past few seasons, winning the conference championship four years in a row.
The ASU defense was one of the best in the SIAC last season, while the offense struggled at times.
Kisan Flakes will be back for his second season at QB this year, and Albany State head coach Mike White says he's counting on his quarterback to lead the way.
"Our offense is all in Flakes hands," says White. "The key for us is our line, we just didn't have a good year last year on our line. This year, if our line is good, we'll be pretty good."
Flakes says, "I told the players they might have seen a little bit of me, but they didn't see the full potential that I have. I feel like I'm a lot more comfortable now, and I can relax in the pocket when the plays come up."
