Albany -- Saturday night's game at Florida will be a big one for the Wildcats, especially for defensive back Cory Bailey.
South Georgia needs a win on the road to stay in the hunt for a division title, while Bailey will be returning to the place he used to call home.
The former University of Florida stand-out played for the Firecats last season, and joined the Wildcats earlier this year, just in time for the week six showdown against his former team.
The defensive back responded with a game-high eleven tackles and two pass break-ups in a 49-38 South Georgia win.
Now he's headed back to Florida for the first time, and Bailey says he's looking for another big performance.
"It's a former team, and I always want to play well," says Bailey. "I'm getting a chance to go back home. I know I'm probably going to need 30 or 40 tickets, but I'm just trying to go down there, and play hard and play fast."
Head coach Derek Stingley says, "For him, who's to say, it could be nervous excitement, 'I don't want to screw up, I might play a little off,' or it could be, 'I'm just going to go out there, lay it all down on the line, and play tough football.'"
Saturday's game kick's off at 7:30 p.m. in Estero, Florida.
