Front doors for two Albany pharmacies smashed in

July 4, 2007

Albany-  Albany Police are looking for a man they think rammed his car through the front doors of two Albany pharmacies and left a trail of prescription medication behind.

The front door of Phillips Pharmacy on Palmyra was rammed by a white Ford Escort just after midnight Monday.  Police found a trail of prescription packages scattered outside the entrance.  A short time later, police spotted a white Ford Escort leaving the Eckerd parking lot on North Slappey.  The door to that store had also been rammed.

Albany Police got the license plate number, but couldn't catch the car.  They traced it back to Justin Scott Short.  He has not been arrested.
