Brantley County - A Waynesville man walking along a road, was hit by a car and killed.

Troopers say 26 year-old Kimberly Dean of Hortense was driving her jeep Cherokee southbound on Post Road in Brantley county around 6:00 Saturday morning.

She hit and killed 34 year-old Harry Jones.

Investigators say he was walking in the middle of the southbound lane.

They are still investigating why he might have been there.

No charges have been filed.
