Albany - Students at Darton College beat the heat with a special treat.   For two hours Wednesday, student activities treated folks in the Darton family to free ice cream. Kelsey Hooper says it was a welcome treat and her teacher actually let her entire class take a quick break to grab a treat.

"It's hot, it's a nice little break," she said.  "We get a break from class, so it's nice to come down here." Student activities regularly hold special events for students and staff, like giving out ice cream. Kelsey says her favorite though, was when they provided ice cream Sundays.
