Lee County--  A respected Lee County leader continues to recover after a series of heart attacks.

Redbone District Commissioner Wally Roberts' seat was empty at Tuesday night's county commission meeting.

Fellow commissioners say he suffered two heart attacks over the weekend and remained hospitalized in Alabama. They say he is missed.

"Of course we felt a void without Wally here. Sure. We missed him and we're all praying for him," said Ed Duffy.

Ed Duffy says he expects Roberts to make a full recovery and be home sometime this week.
