Dothan -- An Early County native was found murdered outside his scrap metal business in Dothan, Alabama Tuesday morning.
Police say 37-year old Perry Griffin was shot to death between 4 and 5 A-M. Griffin grew up in Early County, moving to Dothan a few years ago. He was found dead beside his running truck about 6 A-M outside the Panhandle Converter and Scrap Company.
A pistol and shoulder holster was found yards away.
Sources say Griffin was at his business early taking scrap metal to Mississippi to sell when he was killed. No arrests have been reported.
