Albany - South Georgia Peanuts manager Wally Backman believes in the fundamentals of the game of baseball.
Backman and the Peanuts staff will be teaching the basics of the game to kids this weekend.
Wally Backman hosting a baseball camp for boys and girls ages eight and older this Friday and Saturday morning.
And for youth coaches who want to see what their players are being taught, they are also welcome to watch.
Wally Backman said "What we try to do is teach them the fundamentals of baseball. The proper way the game is supposed to be played, proper techniques, the whole works. We welcome the coaches to come and listen to what our philosophies are on all aspects of the game."
The Wally Backman baseball camp is 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. this Friday and Saturday at the Paul Eames complex.
The cost is 60 dollars.
