Dougherty County -- An Albany woman is charged with falsely claiming she was kidnapped and raped Friday night.
Warrants are issued for 25-year-old Karen Bryan. She told police her car broke down on Pine Bluff Road and as she walked for help, two men in a gold Buick pulled her into their car and forced her onto the floor.
She claims they took her to a house in Worth County and raped her, and claimed that she escaped when they fell asleep.
Police weren't called until the next day. Investigators believe Bryan made up the story so she would not get in trouble with her boyfriend for not coming home Friday night.
She is charged with filing false reports and statements, and that's a felony.
