Sylvester -- It was an event to remember in Sylvester Saturday. Over 300 people from 22 states are attending a family reunion. The reunion brought together four generations.
George Woodward Junior spent the past 16 months getting the event together. And though it was an overwhelming task he is pleased with the results.
"This feeling is so great it's unbelievable," family reunion coordinator George W. Woodward Jr. said. "It really is and the people that I am related to. I didn't know my family was so large. And when we saw all of this I thought what am I going to do now."
The reunion brought together the Woodward, Jackson, and Porter families. All the members are being accommodated in Albany and Worth county.
