Thomasville-- Dorothy Raines was arrested in Tallahassee this morning, and faces charges of running a care home without a license.

Another unlicensed facility in Thomasville was shut down by code enforcement officers yesterday afternoon, and three elderly people living there were taken out of the home. Thomasville police say will not press charges.

Code enforcement got a tip about the house from the department of family and children services. They shut the facility down because of its poor condition. Officials say the home was not properly zoned for a personal care home.
