June 19, 2007

Thomasville--  Police may have a lead in a drive by shooting in Colquitt that happened more than a week ago.   Colquitt police say they've recovered they gun they believe was used.

Someone fired seven shots into the office of the Miller County Liberal newspaper and adjacent buildings, on June 9. Fortunately no one was hurt.  Colquitt police say they've made no arrests and are still investigating.

Many Miller countians believe its related to an ongoing controversy, and a dispute between the editor of the paper, and some members of the board of education.
