APD will reorganize

 June 19, 2007

Albany -- Police Chief James Younger says the investigative division will have more specialized units to investigate thefts, burglary, robbery and homicides.

"By being specialized, our detectives and investigators will be more focused.  They'll have an opportunity to develop a greater level of expertise," said Younger.

Younger also said by training and working in specialized units, investigators will work with officers from across the state.
