Albany --  Art lovers and animal fans can see some of their favorite things at the Riverquarium this month.   The 8th annual Southest Georgia Regional art show and sale is going on right now at the Flint Riverquarium.

Sponsored by Albany area arts council, the show displays work by 61 artists from around South Georgia and the Southeast.

"We've got people from all over the regional area, which is exciting," said Eddie McCarty of the Albany Arts Council. "It's a great opportunity for Art lovers and for the Riverquarium and we just hope everyone will come and enjoy the show."

Starting at 6:30 Monday night, you can purchase artwork from the show. The Art show and sale runs through the 27th at the Flint Riverquarium.
