Georgia colleges team up to help engineering students

June 14, 2007

Douglas - - Georgia isn't producing enough engineering graduates. A couple of colleges are coming together to help reverse that trend.

Thursday, South Georgia College in Douglas and Georgia Tech's Savannah Campus announced a new partnership.

Starting this Fall, students can earn a Pre-Engineering Associates Degree at South Georgia College.

Those credits will transfer to the Savannah school where students will graduate with an Engineering Bachelor's degree.
