Douglas - - Georgia isn't producing enough engineering graduates. A couple of colleges are coming together to help reverse that trend.
Thursday, South Georgia College in Douglas and Georgia Tech's Savannah Campus announced a new partnership.
Starting this Fall, students can earn a Pre-Engineering Associates Degree at South Georgia College.
Those credits will transfer to the Savannah school where students will graduate with an Engineering Bachelor's degree.
