Albany -- Your pets may also be suffering from allergies. However, pet allergies are not seasonal like allergies in humans. Dogs and cats get symptoms year-round with a few more in the Spring and Fall.

But their symptoms are different than what humans experience. "We do see the sneezing, the watery eyes, but it usually manifests itself into skin problems in dogs," said Dr. Steve Whatley.

Skin problems are not as prevalent in cats. They usually suffer from asthma instead.
