Homerville - The body of a Homerville man was found in his home but police don't know how he died.

A family member of 45 year-old Willie Tolbert called the police when she found him dead in his home off of Reddick Street Monday night.

Police suspect he's been there for about a week and decomposition made it hard to determine the cause of death.

As a precaution, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation Crime Scene Unit was brought in.

An autopsy will be performed to determine the cause of death.
