McCollister breaks two records in loss to Pioneers

June 11, 2007

Albany - The South Georgia Wildcats may have lost Saturday's showdown to Wilkes-Barre Scranton but it was a night that receiver Chavis McCollister will never forget.

McCollister set two AF2 records and tied another in Saturday's night game.

McCollister set a league record for touchdown receptions in a game with eight and breaks the league record for most receiving yards in a game with 308.

McCollister tied the record for most touchdowns in a game.

ChavisMcCollister though would have rather had a win and knows the Cats have to bounce back from Saturday's tough loss with a big road game this week at Tennessee Valley.

Chavis McCollister said "This one is over with. We just have got to move forward and go to the next week and just try and get back on a winning streak and get us going like
we were going."

The Wildcats will play three straight road games over the next four weeks before returning home on July 14th.
