Albany - There's a new place in Albany for you to get some country cooking. Roosters is open in the old Willy T's building on Westover Road. Today at lunch, the parking lot and restaurant were filled with customers.
They're open for three meals a day, country still cooking, offering the traditional meat and three vegetables for lunch.
"We are very blown away and the best thing I can say is the employees we have hired are outstanding. We've been very lucky and everybody has worked to the bone to get this place going for us. We are very appreciative of our employees," said Co-owner Austin Newman.
Roosters is open for breakfast and lunch until 2 PM, and offers dinner from 5-9 PM. They're closed on Sunday.
