Newton -- Investigators continue their search for a suspect in a bizarre bank robbery that happened Wednesday morning. Employees at the Baker County Bank were forced into the back of the bank about 10:30 am.
The robber told them if they didn't stay there for two hours, he would harm their families. Bank customers called police about eleven a-m when they arrived and found no one was working inside.
Authorities from numerous agencies responded, not knowing if the robber was still in the bank or not. The robber never showed a weapon.
After he herded all the employees into the back of the building, he made off on foot with a small undisclosed amount of money.
