Albany - - ADICA and Albany city leaders agree that Albany Tomorrow must meet certain guidelines to continue to get money from the city.
Wednesday, the Albany Dougherty Inner City Authority approved a resolution that requires Albany Tomorrow to reach specific goals to continue to get $150,000 from the city each year.
Those goals include developing new construction or renovations downtown, creating events that boost downtown pedestrian traffic, and improving communication with the city commission about its development plans.
ADICA also approved a long-term lease for the Albany Museum of Art to rent the old Mule Barn across from the Hilton downtown.
The Museum will now decide if it wants to accept ADICA's offer since ADICA would still own the property.
