Officers surround Newton bank - WALB.com, Albany News, Weather, Sports

Newton -- Right now the Georgia State Patrol, Baker and Miller County Sheriff's deputies have the Baker County Bank in Newton surrounded. 

Some of the officers have their weapons drawn, and the Georgia State Patrol has been negotiating with someone inside the bank.  

We just learned that some of the officers have gone into the bank. 

We have a crew at the scene, and we will keep you updated as we learn more about what is going on there.
