Macon- The South Georgia Peanuts have lost their second straight series.
Macon scores five runs in the fifth inning to beat the Peanuts 6-3 Friday night at Luther Williams Field.
The Peanuts took a 2-0 lead thanks to Steve Garrabrants two-run homerun in the fourth inning.
It is Garrabrants third homerun of the season.
But Peanuts starter Damas Garcia apparently tired after four scoreless innings.
Garcia did not retire a batter in the fifth when the Music scored five runs.
Macon added another in the sixth.
South Georgia will try to snap a four game losing streak in the final game of the first meeting of the Peach Series Saturday night in Macon.

Macon - South Georgia Peanuts pitcher Chris Howell may have rushed his return to action after a car accident in April.
Howell's first start for the Peanuts was unfortunately very short.
The Fitzgerald native did not record an out in the first inning when he allowed seven runs in a 10-0 loss to the Macon Music.
Control was Howell's biggest problem with four first inning walks.
Macon's Mike DeVeaux did make contact with a grand slam that gave the Music a 6-0 lead at the time.
While the Music had plenty of offense, the Peanuts were shut out for the first time in team history and have not lost three straight games.

Albany - The South Georgia Peanuts have learned they have a challenger in the race for the South Coast League title.
Aiken rallies from a two run deficit to beat the Peanuts 13-7 before a crowd of more than 900 fans Wednesday night at the Paul Eames Complex.
The Foxhounds took what looked to be a commanding 5-0 lead off Peanuts starter Shannon Wirth in the second inning.
But the Peanuts answered with six runs in their half of the frame.
Two runs scored on an error by Aiken third baseman Bradley Key and Peanuts rightfielder Doc Brooks drove in two more with a double.
The Peanuts added another run in the fourth on a double by Joey Hooft that scored Jasha Balcom who led off the inning with a triple.
Aiken scored four runs in the sixth to reclaim the lead and iced the game with four more in the ninth inning.
Two consecutive losses is the first losing streak for the Peanuts in their first season and cuts their lead over Aiken to just one game in the loss column.
Peanuts start a six game road trip Thursday in Macon.
Chris Howell, who has been on the restricted list, will be activated and will make his first start for the Peanuts.

Albany -- The South Georgia Peanuts seven-game win streak is snapped, as they fall at home to Aiken 9-5.
Jeff Timmons had two home runs in the game for the Foxhounds, including a grand slam in the fifth.
Trailing 6-2 in the bottom of the inning, the Peanuts had the bases loaded and two outs before the game was delayed due to lightning, but were unable to score when action resumed.
The teams wrap up the series Wednesday at 7:10 pm.

Albany - The first game of a showdown series between the top two teams in the South Coast League was all South Georgia.
The Peanuts used a terrific starting pitching performanc from Austin Weilep to beat the Aiken Foxhounds 11-1 Monday night at the Paul Eames Complex.
Weilep allowed just one first inning run in working seven innings to earn his third win of the season.
Doc Brooks led the offense with three hits and three runs batted in as the Peanuts broke open the game with a five run fifth inning.
The loss snapped a nine game winning streak for the Foxhounds.
Peanuts manager Wally Backman knows the second place Foxhounds will bounce back from Monday's loss in game two of the series on Tuesday.
Dustin Taylor is scheduled to start for the Peanuts with first pitch at 7:10 p.m..
