Tifton-  A man was brutally beaten in Tifton Monday night.

Witnesses say 45 year old Daniel Orduna was confronted outside his trailer inside the Town and Country Mobile Home Park by 31 year old Margarito Mansilla. The two began to argue.

That's when Orduna went to his car and used what police describe as a semi-trailer tire iron to strike Mansilla over the head.

Mansilla is hospitalized in Thomasville. Orduna is charged with aggravated assault.

Investigators won't say why the men were fighting.
