Dawson-  A Terrell County man with tuberculosis is out of quarantine and getting medical treatment.  At 5:00 a.m. Friday a Terrell County Sheriff's deputy and a Health Department employee removed 41 year old Michael Greene from quarantine at the Dougherty County Jail and began the trip to Columbia, South Carolina. 

Arrangement have been made for Greene to get treatment for his long term TB at a health clinic in South Carolina that contract with the state. Greene spent just shy of two months in quarantine in the Dougherty County Jail when Terrell County Sheriff John Bowens refused to transport him to Columbia because of liability issues.
