Albany - A longtime Albany landowner is selling all her holdings because, she says, Albany is mismanaged. The Beauchamp family is auctioning nearly two dozens pieces of property in Albany, most of them downtown.

She's quoted as saying it's because the city is poorly run. City manager Alfred Lott says, though, that property owners need to be patient because changes are on the way.

He says a downtown manager will be in place by August and that an entertainment district, known as the Riverfront district is being planned.

"We're working with the stakeholders. We're working on a Riverfront District where we will hopefully be able to get around some of the problems associated with the 1,000 ft rule."

The auction of the Beauchamp properties will take place at the Hilton Garden Inn on June 20th.
