Albany - Albany city commissioners finally have some long-awaited answers from the Water, Gas and Light Commission they hope will improve communication between the two groups.

In November, city commissioner Bob Langstaff submitted 119 questions to WG&L board members and employees. Thursday the two boards sat down together and reviewed answers to most of those questions, though some of the answers spawned even more questions. Langstaff says what's important is that the two groups are talking.

He said, "The main thing is we got the diaglogue going on some of the more important issues." One issue commissioners did not settle today is how much money WG&L should transfer to the each year or whether any revenues should be transferred at all.
