Albany - Albany's Autorow is expanding. A groundbreaking ceremony was held at Albany BMW. A new facility will be constructed to solely house the BMW dealership. The current building will be used exclusively for Mercedes.
Owner Wayne Gregory hopes the expansion will also expand sales and service and says it will add more jobs. "Anytime you get to build a new facility for a dealership," said Gregory, "it's a great thing. Typically your sales go up and your customers are much happier because they're in a nice facility so all around it works better."
Since Gregory bought the dealership three years ago, an additional 13 people have been hired, with a 30% increase in sales each year.
