Albany - The South Georgia Wildcats have reached the halfway point of the AF2 season with a 6-2 record.
That is the fourth best record in the league but what is more impressive about this Wildcat team is that none of the eight teams they played so far this season has a losing record.
To win six games against that kind of competition has Wildcat coaches, players and fans looking forward to the second half of the season and yes the word playoffs are being mentioned.
The Wildcats don't just want reach the postseason, they want to play at home during the playoffs.
With the demand for tickets expected to rise, the Wildcats are offering a special season ticket package for the final four regular season home games.
The tickets not only guarantee you a seat for next week's showdown against unbeaten Wilkes-Barre, you are also assured of a seat for any postseason games.
General manager Darren McPhail "For those people who come to all the games but don't buy season tickets, there are quite a few out there. They can get a season ticket for the remaining four games. You get the same seat. You also get the same seat for the playoffs."
Fans can buy those season ticket packages at the Albany Civic Center box office.
The South Georgia Wildcats will be back at home for the next two weeks. Wildcats host Corpus Christi this Saturday night followed by unbeaten and number one ranked Wilkes-Barre Scranton on June 9th.
