Albany--Georgia highways are proving deadly this Memorial Day weekend.

Here's a look at the latest travel stats from around the state.

So far, two people have died on Georgia highways.

As of Saturday, there have been a total of 1,025 accidents state wide and 264 injuries.

The Governor's Office of Highway Safety is predicting a total of 18 traffic deaths over the holiday weekend and almost a thousand injuries.

In the Albany area, troopers are reporting 19 accidents and four injuries.  Fortunately, there have been no fatalities in the area.
