Leesburg - Lee County's Yolanda Berryhill dreamed of signing a Division I track scholarship. She fulfilled that dream Friday with signing with Georgia State University.
Yolanda Berryhill won three state titles at Lee County, two in shot and one in the discus.
She was state runner-up this year in the shot in AAAA and earned national elite status with a throw of over 41 feet.
Yolanda is an oustanding student with a 3.4 grade point average and she was crowned homecoming queen last fall.
Her older sister earned a track scholarship in the shot at Fort Valley State University.
