Valdosta - A new business that will cater to Georgia's largest industries is opening its doors.

Roberts Irrigation Products, a subsidiary of Deere and Company, is one of the world's leading producers of micro and drip irrigation systems.

They will be up and running in their new 40 thousand square foot home at Azalea City Industrial Park within the next few months and plan to hire forty employees to help them start up.  "We want to really optimize the opportunity. We will be growing this location substantially to serve the Southeast but more than just the Southeast, the whole eastern U.S.," says company President John Roberts

Roberts Irrigation distributes their products and equipment worldwide.  Deere and Company is a Fortune 500 Manufacturer.
